Well, this game is very different
from the original pokemon, as this one doesn't
intend to catch all the 151 pokemon, but to snap
them.
Yeah, this is just like a
photographical safari! You get into the ZERO-ONE,
an experimental transport, equipped with a camera,
and under the orders of Prof. Oak, you have to
make beautiful photos of the 63 (yes, only 63)
pokemon available in this game.
Of course, with the developing of
the game, you'll get more tools, like:
Pokemon
food - good for attracting attention and
getting special poses.
Pester
ball - this ball takes all pokemon out
of their hiding places and instantly scares them.
Poke
Flute - pokemon love music! And if you
use this, they will make special things, and you'll
get wonderful snaps!
This game gives you bonus points
for the quality of the photos (like a pro
photographer), that is, the size of the pokemon,
the number, the species, and if the photo is
centered. Many pokemon are more hidden or
difficult to get than others, and the main goal
of the game is to make the best and most
beautiful photo. Here are some really good snaps
(all taken from Nintendo's
Official Site, since I do not own the cart).

Also, if there's a Blockbuster
near your house, you can get your cart over there
to print your snaps into stickers, in the Snap
Station.
